Yashiro Nanakase revealed for King of Fighters 15 in the latest game trailer

Yashiro Nanakase has been revealed for King of Fighters 15 in the latest trailer released by SNK. We take a good look at his performance during the new trailer.

Yashiro first debuted in The King of Fighters ’97. He has not been playable in a King of Fighters title since The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match, so looking back on King of Fighters 1

5 is quite a treat.

During one of the King of Fighters tournaments, the Orochi blood woke up in Yashiro. He worked diligently to gather the energy of warriors in an attempt to resurrect Orochi.

Eventually, Yashiro and Shermie ended up committing suicide to transfer their energy to Chris, who then hosted Orochi. The three sacred treasures – Kyo, Iori and Chizuru – then worked together to seal Orochi.

Verse’s defeat in King of Fighters 14 has apparently caused many characters, such as Yashiro Nanakase, to be revived. This provides a possible explanation for why Chizuru has returned as a playable character in King of Fighters, and why Kyo and Iori are now working together on Team Sacred Treasures.
