The black armor opened for business earlier this week, giving watchmen a whole new range of equipment to pursue. Unfortunately, with every update, Destiny 2's exotic merchant becomes more and more obsolete. Having disappointed many with their inventory that included more copies from last week, fans have begun to wonder when his inventory will be refreshed with new items. While this year's exotic with custom rolls is nice, most players have already found these items.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed this week either, although there may be hope for the future of this trader. Recent information about what comes to the game has revealed an interesting update known as Xur Bounties. Information is not existing on what this feature really is and players must wait until 2019 in Drifterens season to find out more.
Before the Black Armory comes, here are all the elements Xur sells in Destiny 2 for the weekend of December 7, 2018:
Where is Xur?
This week Hang Xur on Tower Hanger.
Enter the tower and turn left towards Amanda Holliday and the former site where Cayde-6 could be found. Head left after entering Hanger, ran past Arach Jalaal and his Dead Orbit staging ground to find Xur on a platform overlooking the recent city's expansions.
Fortunately, Xur does not have any copies this week. While he may not have any new equipment, he brought some important armor pieces, especially for players who do not own them yet.
Crown of Tempests – Warlock Helmet
Anyone in addition to Stormcaller Warlocks does not need to apply. The Crown of Tempests is a Stormcaller-specific exotic that uses arcade kills to increase the boot speed of the player's bowing capacity, as well as prolong the duration of Stormtrance.
For Stormtrance Warlocks, Crown of Tempests is a must, similar to other class-specific exotic. Of course, it's not for everyone, so Voidwalker or Dawnblade specialists can surely pass this exotic gear this week.
- Recovery or mobility
- Bending chain, gun configuration, hands on
- Machine gun or OR Sniper Rifle Scavenger Ophidia Spathe – Hunter armor ]
One of the better years Hunter exotics Ophidia Spathe synergies extremely well with the Gunslinger class thanks to its exotic perk. Scissor Fingers provides two knives per load, allowing Gunslinger Hunters to throw knives everywhere. When the couple is together with Road of Thousand Cuts and Play with Fire, Ophidia Spathe has its own, as players can almost spammy the melee attack as often as they want to thank the fast recharging time and Gambler's Dodge.
No matter what skill tree is used, this armor is a very valuable exotic to have on hand. Some may argue that Shards of Galanor is the better exotic to have, but it's still a great piece to own.
- Gear Roller:
- Resistance OR Recovery
- Incarrying Arc Purpose, Inexplicable Merger Matters, Inexplicable Kinetic Weapon Targets
- Scout Gear Reserves OR Special Ammo Finder
ACD / 0 Reset Fence – Titan Gauntlets
Rasputin inspired the Titan jakobs couple well with beauties who like to beat things. Fury The Conductors Build Energy When Melee Kills. Getting affected by a melee attack not only reduces incoming damage and releases the stored energy in an explosion.
It does not match any of the recent exotic features such as Ursa Furiosa or One Eyed Mask, but it is a solid choice especially for those players who like PvP content. Getting the hole and causing small explosions is a powerful and fun ability to have.
- Fastener Roller:
- Resistance or Mobility
- Fusion Wiper Loader, Hand Scanner Load, Impact Induction
- Machine Gun Resins OR Sniper Shot
After a very short hiatus, Suros Regime is back as Xur's exotic weapon. Introduced into the Warmind extension, Suros Regime allows the user to almost customize how it burns more than most other weapons. Perk SUROS Legacy gives the bottom half of every magazine bonus injury and a chance to return health by killing. In addition, players can choose from two different fire frequencies with Spinning Up, which increases the burn rate, the longer the trigger is held and the Dual Speed Receiver, which reduces the fire frequency when you aim down the sights, but increases the weapon damage.
It's a nice weapon, but it's hard to recommend as Pulse Rifles tend to be quite dominant in today's meta. The regime is also overclassified by other weapons like the newly introduced Breakneck, they recently added Black Armory weapons, and it's hard to justify this exotic weapon over some of the other dominant ones like Thunderlord.
Here is the complete tour of Xur's entire warehouse for December 7th:

- Young Ahamkaras Spine (23) Legendary Shards
