We put a lot of focus on the PS5 and where players can find one, but the Xbox deserves a little love too.
Xbox Series X | S has the potential to be a sleeping console this generation, with many great games under development right now.
But if you still want to get a new Xbox, we’ve got you covered.
An unlikely dealer has stock
While many of us tend to look towards GAME, Amazon, Argos, Smyths, etc. For the latest stock, there are some companies out there that actually sell consoles and other hardware that most people do not pay attention to, including BT.
BT sells game consoles, as well as games and PC hardware, but most people are not aware of this.
When we look at BT̵
The console sells for the standard £ 249.99 and comes with the new serial controller, which is an improved version of the previous Xbox One controller.
One thing to note is that the Xbox Series S is weaker than the Series X counterpart, targeting 1080p and 1440p instead of 4K, and is also only digital, but it is still an impressive console for the price.
With the Xbox Game Pass, there are many games to choose from, over 400 in fact, as well as being able to purchase games from the Xbox Store.
The Series S has only 512 GB of storage space, so it’s crucial for the console to grab a storage expansion.
As the only console, we would probably suggest waiting for the X series to return to stock, but this would be a good choice to sit next to a PlayStation 5 in someone’s TV unit.
Recently we have seen GAME, Argos and Amazon all receive stock of next generation systems, but everything is quickly sold out, which means that buyers must be quick if they have any chance of grabbing a new console.
The best advice is to turn on inventory alerts for each site that offers them.
