Microsoft has added another game to Xbox One's ever-growing backward compatible library. Only a new Xbox 360 title can be played at current concentration this week, but it's one of the most popular systems: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Originally released in 2009, Modern Warfare 2 was one of the most reputable listings of its generation and was one of the parts responsible for running the Call of Duty series to its current popularity. GameSpot gave the Xbox 360 version a 9/10 in our Modern Warfare 2 review and called it "a thoroughly excellent package that's sure to tension shooters and deprive them to sleep for months."
If you still have an Xbox 360 copy of Modern Warfare 2, you can pop the record into the Xbox One to start a download and start playing. If you have previously purchased the game digitally, it will automatically appear in Ready to Download in the My Games and Applications menu. Modern Warfare 2 is also available for download from the Microsoft Store and is on sale for $ 1
Microsoft has rolled out new backward compatible games for the Xbox One on a weekly basis recently. Earlier this month, two Xbox 360 Tomb Raider games, Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary were added in backward compatible library while a couple of Splinter Cell games arrived at the beginning of this month.
