A prominent Xbox insider has teased that Xbox Game Studios has not one, but two “big” unannounced games to be released this year. Unfortunately, this is where the details of these two mystery games end, at least the details of the prominent variation. As for the report, it comes to Window Central’s Jez Corden, who during a recent episode of the Xbox Two podcast claimed that Xbox Game Studios has “at least” two “big games” planned to release this year that it has not announced .
Right now, Xbox Game Studios has both Halo Infinite and Psychonauts 2 releases this year. The former is currently scheduled to release sometime this holiday season, while the latter still has a wider “2021
Again, Corden does not even suggest what these games might be, but it is quite possible that one could be a new one Forza Horizon, as it is rumored for this year. In the meantime, the second game may be Wolfenstein III, which we know is under development, but which has not actually been announced, but should still be nearing completion.
Although these are two guesses, it is unclear what the two games might otherwise be, especially since Corden identifies them as “big games.” Of course, “big” is subjective, but there is no reason to believe that Corden stretches the word. The thing is, big games are rarely announced and released the same year. But do not just do it Force do this all the time, but Bethesda is one of the few that takes this approach, and sometimes emphasizes the speculation above.
For now, take everything here with a grain of salt given that it ranges from unofficial to outright speculative. While the Corden is usually quite reliable, everything here is very vague, and of course it can be changed.
