X018 Roundup: Crackdown 3 Release Date, Xbox One X Discount, New Game Pass Titles and more



Microsoft held a special event in Mexico City to promote all the events around Xbox One, titled X018. The event showed lots of new recordings for upcoming games, announcements about release dates, DLC and features, and even some surprising Microsoft acquisitions. Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 will end with a solid release date. You will be able to patrol the city and break the skull of some criminal superiors on February 15, 2019. [Full story]

The company also debuted a brand new multiplayer mode for Crackdown 3, called the Wrecking Zone. It pisses two teams with five against each other in a devastating arena.

In addition, for fans or beginners, the original Crackdown is now available through 30th of November. Come in and clean up the city, agents.

Forza Horizon 4 DLC

Forza Horizon 4 showed its first major expansion titled Fortune Island. DLC will take you to the windy roads and treacherous weather in the northern British Isles, and also introduce a number of new cars.

Xbox One is all you can subscribe to, the Xbox Game Pass, announced 16 new games on its way to the subscription in the coming months. These include PUBG, Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice, and Ori and Blind Forest, among others.

The company also mentioned that Ori and Will of the Wisps, sequel to Blind Forest, come to Game Pass on the release date next year.

Finally, Game Pass now has its own dedicated app, which will help players discover new games and put them down from where they are.

New Studio Acquisitions

Microsoft expanded its portfolio of studios as well, with two more announcements. The first was InXile, the study of Wasteland and The Bard's speech.

The second studio acquisition was the developer behind the Knights of the Old Republic and Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment.
