Back in 2018, professional basketball superstar Candace Parker and her ex-husband Sheldon Williams sold their Encino marriage house for $ 3.8 million, sharing the profits and going their separate ways. But the WNBA baller has bounced back nicely; Earlier this month, she spent $ 4 million on a larger, newer and generally more impressive property in the nearby San Fernando Valley community of Tarzana.
Built this year on speculation by a local developer, the nearly half-acre property is located in a quiet street behind tall orange gates. The major highway has room for at least half a dozen cars, and there is a garage for three cars attached for extra parking, plus small patches of grass and native landscaping to break up the concrete jungle.

Inside the snazzy, modern farmhouse, there is an open floor plan with wooden floors with wide planks and a relatively vibrant color scheme that contains shades of white, gray and warm acorn. Immediately to the right of the entrance is the fireplace-equipped living room; beyond it, a center corridor leads past an office in black and gold to a large large room, where there is a formal dining area served by a wet bar, a family room with another fireplace and backlit built-in decor and a courtyard, accessible via glass sliding doors, which offers its own outdoor fireplace.

When her guests get too rowdy, Parker can retreat to one of the mansion’s 5,300 square feet of five private bedrooms, all of which are packed in their own bathrooms. The master bedroom upstairs is particularly titanic, with a marble fireplace, a showroom closet larger than many shops, and a spa-style bathroom with both a bath and one of the largest showers on this side of Mulholland, complete with no less than three shower heads. Downstairs there is also a soundproof cinema with seating for 10 people, while a sophisticated Control4 home automation system with security cameras will deter unwanted party crashes from joining the fun.
Parker, 34, was the first pick in the WNBA draft in 2008, and she has played for the Los Angeles Sparks throughout her professional career. Over the past decade, she has become a household name, and has amassed an enormous amount of awards, including two MVP awards, one WNBA championship and two Olympic gold medals. 6’4 ″ Naperville, Illinois, also has a number of lucrative approval offers such as Adidas and Gatorade that have helped make her perhaps the highest paid player on the entire WNBA list.
Lillian Wall of Wall Street Properties held the listing; Stephen Sweeney and Josh Altman of the Altman Brothers Team on Douglas Elliman rapped Parker.
