The latest feature update for Windows 10, Windows 10 version 1809 – October 2018 update – is now available for "advanced users" according to Microsoft.

Microsoft rolled out feature update in early October 2018, but pulled it from Windows Update and other update tools shortly thereafter due to a loss of data loss.

A large number of other issues occurred during the weeks following the withdrawal of the update: users reported audio and bluescreens, fonts, mapped network drives, or Intel monitors.

It took Microsoft six weeks to launch Windows version 1809 in November 2018. The company launched a cumulative update for the version of Windows 10 in December that addressed additional bugs and issues.
