Why do I now have to play all blood-borne to completion

Starting this weekend I will pick up the PlayStation 4 game Bloodborne and start a new playthrough. In the next few months I will finish it. I really don't want to, but I have to. For Kotaku Split Screen.

It's not that I don't like Bloodborne . I played through the first few bosses when it came out in 2015 and liked it just fine, but after that seven or eight hours of market I felt like I had got it. I was ready for the next video game.

Then came Kirk Hamilton.

In January last year, Kirk (we miss your bid) and I made every 10 video game judgments for 2018, that would be the one who got more right would make the other play a game of their choice. One can probably argue that Church's predictions were "too light" or "foolishly obvious" or "insultingly safe," but it is neither here nor there. I lost and therefore I have to play Bloodborne .

In today's episode, we also talk about the wonderful CrossCode Minit Life is Strange season two, and our New Year's resolutions. Listen here:
