The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is the latest graphics card in the Nvidia RTX 30 series, and it’s the day it’s sold out on June 10th. Although I do not consider the card personally and strongly advise against trying to buy a new graphics card right now, there will no doubt be some of you out there who are itching to get one. So if you are desperate to get an RTX 3070 Ti, here is all you need to know about where to buy one, release time, starting price and specifications.
To find out exactly how the RTX 3070 Ti stacks up against the rest of today’s best graphics cards, you can read all about it in my full RTX 3070 Ti review. For what it̵
RTX 3070 Ten release time and price
RTX 3070 Ti starts further June 10 at 06:00 PT / 14:00 BST with prices from kl £ 529 / $ 599. This puts it in the middle of the MSRPs of the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080, with the RTX 3070 costing £ 100 / $ 100 less, and the RTX 3080 costing £ 100 / $ 100 more. However, due to the current shortage of graphics cards, cards are likely to cost much more than this when sold.
Where can I buy an RTX 3070 Ti
If you are determined to buy an RTX 3070 Ti when it is sold later today, then these are the best places to try to get one. Like previous graphics card launches this year, it will probably be snapped up pretty quickly. Below I have listed the dealers who currently sell the RTX 3070 Ti as a standalone card in both the UK and the US.

It will also be available for purchase as standalone GPUs and as part of pre-built desktop systems.
RTX 3070 Ten specifications
What has changed with the RTX 3070 Ti? The main difference is that the RTX 3070 Ti now has 8 GB faster GDDR6X VRAM instead of 8 GB regular GDDR6 VRAM like the vanilla sibling. It also has marginally higher clock speeds, but it is also more power hungry as a result. To see exactly how the RTX 3070 Ti stacks up against the rest of Nvidia’s RTX 30 family, see the specification table below.

As I mentioned earlier, you can read all about the RTX 3070 Ti performance in my RTX 3070 Ti review, but overall it’s quite disappointing, offering speeds that are around 2-5 frames per second faster than the regular RTX 3070 at 4K and 1440p. It is a very small gain considering the higher price, and quite disappointing compared to previous Ti models Nvidia has released in the past as well.
Traditionally, Ti cards have been a great way to get performance close to the card above it – in this case the RTX 3080 – for a little less. Unfortunately, the RTX 3070 Ti does not come close to the RTX 3080’s game speeds, and I’m not quite sure why it exists in the first place. For our money, you’ll be much better off getting the regular versions of the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 if you find one at a good price. If you can not, just think about whether you really need to upgrade your graphics card right now, because if you buy one now, you will probably pay massively over the odds for it.
