Trying to get one? Of course you are – so is the rest of the world. Players have been waiting for over six weeks for Xbox inventory to appear online. Microsoft’s next-generation game consoles – Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – sold more or less immediately back on launch day and then sold out within minutes every time there has been any kind of stock drop at major retailers. . In part, this is obviously due to insatiable consumer demand. But there is little doubt that it also has a lot to do with .
At the moment there is no stock to get anywhere. There has been a handful of stock declines in stores such as Walmart and Best Buy in recent weeks. Just before the holidays, Best Buy actually announced some consoles for sale, which surprisingly sold out immediately. Walmart had its own stock declines two days in a row, both of which ran out faster than it took me to write this. This means that at the moment all dealers are sold out again.
We keep an eye on Twitter and other news sources, and we will keep you updated on what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop and Target are planning. Still, it’s best to keep expectations in check: Microsoft confirmed it in November.
What follows is a list of the big ones retailers selling Xbox Series X. Our advice is to seek out the $ 500 retail price and avoid expensive retail packages (which include foreign controllers, accessories, and games). Even better: If you do not have a 4K TV and do not expect to get one anytime soon, give it a tryinstead of saving $ 100.
Xbox Series X: Check Inventory
Best Buy was the last retailer to remain in pre-order days in September, but is now ready for your Xbox Series X purchase after stock.
Amazon sells the Xbox Series X and the less expensive Series S from the same product page.
GameStop was touted “very limited number of Xbox Series X and S console packages for purchase”, but they are currently sold out.
Walmart is doing a solid job of tagging accessibility windows for PS5 and Xbox on its Twitter feed. You may also want to visit the retailer’s Xbox Destination page for both new consoles.
If you want to get the latest on the Xbox Series X, it’s probably no better than Microsoft’s own Xbox Series X homepage. Here you will find the latest specifications, announced game titles, details about the new controller and more.
This is Target’s product page for the Xbox Series X.
This is where you can buy the Xbox Series X at Newegg when the retailer has stock.
Are you already getting desperate? Are you willing to pay a premium of hundreds of dollars over the list price? Listen, we would not do this, nor do we recommend that you do. But if you want to go that route, StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that lets you buy and sell new Xbox and PS5 models – as long as you are willing to pay upwards of $ 650.
