One of the most popular maps throughout Call of Duty franchise is Nuketown. That card originally debuted eight years ago in Treyarch's original Black Ops for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and finally found its way into Call of Duty Online . Well, now it's back to Black Ops 4 as a sort of fuzzy tradition.
As you can see in the tweet above, the announcement was accompanied by a short five-second teaser trailer, showing a few color images of what looks like some tests are taking place. The teaser ends with a look at the city's sign at Nuketown Nuclear Site.
Many people were excited about the announcement because many players can not wait to return to Nuketown and start blowing each other into pieces.
It is also – as indicated by tweet – a kind of Russian element for this iteration of Nuketown, so it will be interesting to see how it plays.
And even if PlayStation 4 players want their hands On content first, Xbox One owners could get their hands on it just a week later. It's much better than waiting one month for the content to arrive, as was the case with the content Infinite Warfare .
The Nuketown release was made by an update that just rolled out this weekend. Treyarch detailed the update to Black Ops 4 sub reddit, revealing that from November 9th to November 12th, there would be a double XP bonus for players to indulge in.
Once you get upgraded with double XP, you will then be able to dive onto the Nuketown map on November 13th.
There will also be double-rate increases in multiplayer PvP and Battle Royale Blackout mode until Monday. So it seems that Treyarch wanted to make the players all nice and hooked on Black Ops 4 and make them rejuvenate and polish their skills before they managed to return to the eight-year Nuketown map.
The developers also took some time to balance some of the weapons, which gives SMGs the opportunity to beat opponents in a range of close-up situations when playing hardcore mode and reduces armor protection to make you two kills in hardcore, and enables the ability to play with up to two specialists per team.
The update is coming soon after Treyarch has removed the 9-Bang grenade in Blackout mode because the grenade is exaggerated. I'm sure most people will not miss it now, when Nuketown is inbound.
