Governor of West Virginia and West Virginia Tourism Office announced that they collaborate with Bethesda for "Advertising and Trips" linked to Fallout 76. The West Virginia setting of Fallout 76 (albeit a post-apocalyptic version of it) is sure of to draw fans to the state (if it does not already have) to visit places from the open world multiplayer game.
A post on The West Virignia Tourism Office's website states that "… will create advertising strategies to educate players about West Virginia's unique landscape and culture as well as offer them an open invitation to visit the state over the coming months . "
" For years, I have said we have everything, "said Governor Jim Justis," Beautiful scenery, the best people you can ask for and more. And now, we share it with people all over the world through the unique the objective of this video game. "
" Our goal is to welcome all players to almost heaven, "said Tourism Commissioner Chelsea Ruby. "Bethesda has been a wonderful partner since day 1
There are no specific details yet about what this partnership will result in, although it is not worth anything like West Virginia's Mothman Museum, which is also a place in Fallout 76, sells (and is already sold out of) Fallout 76 posters and T-shirts .
