One of the shiny features of OnePlus 6T is its display, with a small water fog, sleek frames and discreet hook. When you hold 6T in your hand after you buy it, it really feels like it's nothing but the screen.
But if you look at a new Instagram ad from OnePlus that promotes 6T, you can come home disappointed after purchase. That's because OnePlus 6T in the ad has much smaller details and an almost non-existent check.
Ad's fraud was detected by Twitter using @pedropeguerojr (via Android Police ). Check out the Pedros tweet below, which not-so-subtly calls OnePlus out for this graphic trickery:

Yes, those objections and that chin are much larger than in the ad.
It is not uncommon for ads to contain digitally modified displays, but this is too much. OnePlus is trying to sell us on a phone with an edge-to-edge screen when not. Poor form, OnePlus.
