A new aspect of Call of Duty: Warzone has been detected by a player. The only problem is that it is a feature that does not serve much of a purpose in the large scheme of the multiplayer shooter at all.
In a new video from the YouTube channel TrueGameData it was found that Call of Duty: Warzone is a bit of a different experience in private lobbies compared to public ones. What this means specifically is that the way damage is done to enemies varies slightly. For the most part, the differences are not great, but it̵
Based on TrueGameData’s own research, these variations in damage numbers also depend on the gun you use and the distance you are from the ones you shoot at. For example, in both public and private lobbies, MP5 has the same damage production until you get 52 meters or more away from enemies. At this point, the weapon’s damage in private combat is for some reason higher than what you would find in a public game. Some of the other weapons that are said to be like this include the P90 and Striker 45.
It is worth noting that TrueGameData’s own video acknowledges that this information may be incorrect, but they also conducted extensive tests to confirm that what is being claimed is factual. There is also a chance that Infinity Ward does not even know that this is currently a problem, and if they are made aware of it, an upcoming update may balance War zone across all lobby types.
Until that time, Call of Duty: Warzone can currently be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If you want to follow our coverage of the game in the future, you can do so by following our page here.
