Wandersong dev’s Chicory now brings its cute dogs and magic brushes to PS4 and PS5 • Eurogamer.net

In addition to the previously announced PC version.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale, the publisher of Finji’s delightful games with magic brushes and cute dogs, is now going to PS4 and PS5 along with the previously announced PC release.

Chicory is the brainchild of Wandersong developer Greg Lobanov and features music by Celeste composer Lena Raine. It maps the adventures of the said dog, who must use a magic brush to restore the color to the world after the original owner, Chicory, disappears.

What follows is something like a mix of Zelda and Animal Crossing, which combines exploration and puzzles ̵

1; based on the ever-growing ability of your brush – with a city’s value of animals to become friends and help. There are collectibles, plants and furniture for customization fans, plus collaboration for those who want to splash some color with a friend.

Chicory: A colorful story – official trailer.

Eurogamer’s Christian Donlan was enchanted by Sikori when he played an early demo back in 2019, saying “The fun that can be experienced with the paint in Sikori is not in doubt, but more than anything, the world is a delight, filled with interesting, some times prickly characters to chat with and full of treasure chests that let you swap your standard clothes for something a little more interesting. “

There is no exact date for Chicory’s arrival yet, but Finji says it will be on its way to PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
