Walmart will have PS5 and Xbox Series X / S available online at 3 PM ET today

If you’ve had trouble finding PS5 or Xbox Series X / S consoles in stock, you’ve got a second chance to get one or both of these next-generation consoles. A spokesman for Walmart said The Verge that the retailer will have the consoles available for purchase today at 15:00 ET.

As previously stocked, Walmart sells these next-generation consoles exclusively online via its official website, as well as through the Walmart mobile app. It is unknown when Walmart plans to resell these consoles in stores, so if you want to buy one of the consoles at the moment, online is the only available method.

Walmart told The Verge that it plans to have stock for PS5, PS5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S game consoles today, with prices ranging from $ 300 to $ 500, depending on the model.

Sony’s flagship next generation console, priced at $ 499.99. Compared to the $ 399.99 PS5 Digital Edition, this console includes a disk drive that lets you play both digital and physical games.

Both consoles have been sold out for almost three months, and demand has been through the roof. Sony reported earlier this week that it sold 4.5 million PS5 consoles last year alone, following its November 12 launch. Last week, Microsoft noted that they did not increase specific figures in their earnings report, but that Xbox hardware revenue increased by 86 percent the year before.

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, and serves as the most powerful (and largest) option at $ 499.99. While the $ 299.99 Series S is aimed at steady 1440p performance, the Series X is focused on fast 4K gaming.
