Valheim’s wolves will reproduce less now, which is good news if the Viking survival’s swimming population has torn you to pieces one too many times. This change comes via update 0.147.3, which perhaps more interestingly provides “major changes to dedicated servers”.
These changes in brief? Most players should have lower latency now when playing on dedicated servers. Less short: this is because the game now uses direct connections instead of Steam Datagram Relay (SDR). SDR is billed as a way to drive game traffic through Valve’s network, making it faster and more secure, although it seems that has not been the case for Valheim players. The game̵
All of the other changes in this version are minor fixes, although there is no mention of my recently reported Valheim error:
I have learned today that players in Valheim notice that the boats are missing or flying.
The truth – birds (like seagulls) land on boats, and a mistake places the boat at bird control – which means that the bird lands on a boat and flies away with it and steals it.
