Valheim receives regular small updates, but as small updates go, today was a reasonably large selection of adjustments and repairs for the Viking survival sim.
Among the changes are an increase in reinforced storage space on the chest to 6×4, a fine-tuning to make it easier to hit more enemies with a battle ax, and more lively boss drops so that they float on water.
They sound like useful adjustments, but bonfires, bonfires and fireplaces will also now “take damage when dealing with damage”, which will make it harder for players to build industrial-scale operations for breeding certain enemies (and even bosses). ) by burning them to death.
The patch also brings a bunch of fixes, including continued adaptations to the game’s network, that will help it “work better on low bandwidth connections” and make it easier to detect bad connections.
The console command to enable debug commands is now “devcommands” instead of “imacheater”, which seems a bit friendlier. You also need to activate the console first now, by adding “-console” as a launch argument in Steam. We need to update our site with Valheim cheats.
You can see the full list of changes on Steam. If you still do not know what the fuss is about with Valheim, I suggest you read Ed’s post about the carrot saga. If you do know what the fuss is about, i suggest you check out some mods, like this silly Attack On Valheim that adds Attack On Titan-style grip hooks to the game.
