In September, Twitter announced that the company will finally bring back its OG, reverse chronological timeline that everyone loved. Today, the company has begun rolling out the new reverse chronological timeline to all users on iOS.
The major update to the company's iOS app allows users to switch between top tweets and last tweets, with the former being the company's algorithmic timeline. Although top tweets are a great way to get things up, Twitter is really about real-time updates, so the algorithmic timeline has never been very sensible basically for a platform like Twitter.

The switch should be a welcome change for all users. And the Twitter app will apparently be default to the last tweets timeline if you tend to switch to the last tweets option quite often. The feature rolls out on iOS today and comes to Android users later.
