- Samsung gives Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G buyers 100 days to try the phones risk-free.
- It hopes the move will get people to try folding phones they would otherwise shy away from.
- The offer lasts until 1 April.
Have you wanted to try a folding phone, but ran out of the idea of spending a small fortune when you are not even sure you like the concept? Samsung thinks it can calm you down. It launches an American campaign that allows you to try a Galaxy collapsible for 100 days without risk.
Buy Galaxy Z Fold 2 ($ 1,999.99) or Galaxy Z Flip 5G ($ 1,099.99) from Samsung’s website by April 1st, and you have the aforementioned 100 days to return the phone instead of the two weeks you usually obtained from retailers. In other words, you can really get comfortable with a collapsible Galaxy before deciding if it fits your lifestyle.

You also get an “enhanced” $ 550 qualifying unit credit card, plus an $ 200 instant accessory credit.
There is no mystery behind Samsung’s reasoning. It hopes to reel in customers who have money for a Z Fold or Z Flip, but retire to a well-known design like the Galaxy S21, since they can not realistically try a collapsible – certainly not during a pandemic, when stores are closed or risky . . While this move is not going to make folding phones hugely popular, it could expand the audience and prime the market for future devices.
