This refurbished Samsung Chromebook 4 model costs as little as $ 234 and features a 15.6-inch screen powered by an Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM. Disadvantages? It provides only 32 GB of solid state storage. The upside? It has a full HD 1920×1080-pixel resolution screen for a sharper image and more workspace than you would get with the 1,366×768-pixel resolution found on other low-end Chromebooks.

This 14-inch two-in-one from Asus is currently discounted by $ 100 on Best Buy. It does not include a pen like the above Samsung two-in-one, but it has a better processor in the Intel Core m3. With 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the other core specifications are the same as you get with Samsung.

This refurbished HP Chromebook 15 has a touch screen, but it can not rotate all the way to tablet mode. If you care more about power than the Chromebook works as a tablet, you should know that this model has an Intel Core i3 processor, which is more powerful than Intel Pentium and Celeron chips that are often found on Chromebooks. It also delivers a generous 128 GB SSD, which is double or quadrupled the capacity of lower priced models. In addition to touch support, the 15.6-inch screen has a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
