Clothing in the morning can reach net exclusive reward, thanks to a new series of smart clothes released by Tommy Hilfiger on Thursday.
Each product in the clothing manufacturer's new capsule, Tommy Jeans XPLORE, features a built-in Awear Solutions smart Bluetooth smartphone that allows the user to associate their item with the company's XPLORE iOS app using Bluetooth. When paired, users are essentially a micromarcassist, earn points to wear their goods, compete in daily and weekly challenges, and collect Tommy-tagged heart-shaped icons on the app's map.
When you have picked up enough points, Tommy says that they can be exchanged for products, gift certificates, signed items and experiences, such as a trip to the Tommy archive or VIP pass for a Tommy runway show.
"Awear Smart Tag enables active, personal engagement in real time, reward the consumer for product use," says Liron Slonimsky, General Manager and Founder of Awear Solutions, to WWD. "Never before has a brand been able to understand how the consumer really uses the product after leaving the store. "
There are 23 items in the XPLORE collection, ranging from denim jackets ($ 1
XPLORE can be purchased at Tommy.com and at the company's New York flagship.
