The foundation claims to be a ‘full coverage, moisturizing, durable formula’ that results in a ‘fresh matte finish’ that will not feel or look thick on the skin – and according to many fans at TikTok, that’s exactly what it delivers.

Meghan Grant, a makeup artist with more than 52,200 followers in the app, was left with her mouth open in shock after trying the foundation for the first time and seeing how well it covered the hyperpigmentation on her skin.

‘I’ve never seen more hype over a foundation, but here we are,’ she began her review video, before explaining that she picked up the foundation in two of her 40 shades, just to make sure she achieved the perfect match.

She then made some of the promises from the brand regarding the formula, while showing her natural skin tone and explaining: ‘Claims to feel natural, but still be completely covered. I have crazy hyperpigmentation, I have no beauty filter on, nothing. ‘

Using the KVD Beauty brush sold next to the product, Meghan applied a swipe of the formula along her cheek – just to be amazed at what she saw.

The formula made her skin look almost perfect, and covered all the dark spots that had been clearly visible on her cheek.

‘I feel you’re lying,’ she exclaims. Do you all see this or not? Hyperpigmentation where madam? I’m finished.’

In a follow-up clip, the beauty influencer responded to her followers’ request to put the product through a ‘wear test’ and review how well it lasts on the skin over time, with someone insisting that the foundation ‘slides off’ the skin after a few hours.

Meghan, who says she has naturally dry skin, applied oil to one side of her face to try to replicate how the product might look on someone with an oily skin color, before applying the foundation to both sides of her face.

Seven and a half hours, and a nap later, Meghan revealed that her skin color still looked almost perfect, with only a small amount of shine that developed on the “fat” side.

‘This is my face after I just woke up from a nap,’ she explains. ‘I love it.’

The makeup artist is not the only one who is won by the product.

Toronto-based beauty influencer Glamzilla was full of praise for the foundation when she tried it on her own TikTok video – and just like Meghan, she was amazed at the results.

‘Let’s test this … woah it’s full coverage!’ she exclaimed as she applied the product to part of her face. ‘What the hell? Oh my God. Look at that. It’s wild. ‘

She continued to apply the foundation over half of her face to demonstrate how much it transformed her skin.

‘Wow. It covers all my redness, full coverage, but easy, ‘said the TikTok star – who has close to 550,000 followers. ‘Feels like velvet on the skin. My God, yes, yes. ‘

The foundation has even proven to be popular with beauty advocates who admit that they are not particularly fond of the KVD Beauty brand, including Mikayla Nogueira, who confessed to her 4.6 million followers that she can not remember the last time she was impressed. a KVD product ‘.

However, after seeing the viral reaction to the base conditioner, Mikayla could not resist giving it a try.

‘I can not even tell you the last time I was impressed with a KVD product,’ she joked at the beginning of the video, before admitting: ‘I bought this so fast, [because] it was sold out. ‘

Mikayla went on to explain that she has ‘normal to dry skin’, so the moisturizing formula is ‘straight up the alley’.

Just like her other beauty fans, the makeup artist could not help but express her amazement at seeing the first results.

‘Holy s ** t, it’s madness. It’s like perfect, she says as she uses the formula on one side of her face.

‘It’s so insane, it’s so full coverage. I do not know how to explain this, but it is extremely full coverage, but very easy. I do not feel like I have anything on my face. It looks amazing. ‘

Mikayla also did a wear test to reassure her followers’ fears that the foundation will not last all day, and returned to the app hours after the product was used to back up the rumors.

Stand-out: When it came to the KVD Beauty Foundation, however, Claudia insisted that ‘the hype was real’

‘This foundation bears so beautifully,’ she insisted as she said she loved how ‘dew’ it looked after a few hours.

The only warning she gave was in terms of application and said: ‘Do not use too much, a little goes extremely far.’

Influencer Claudia Oshry was another TikTok user who was amazed at the results of the foundation – admitted at the beginning of her review video that she has tried several viral products in the past, and has always been disappointed.

‘I always try trendy makeup, and it always looks awful on me,’ she said. ‘I hope this changes my life.’

And it turned out that the KVD Beauty Foundation turned out to be the exception from her board.

‘Wow, s ** t, this is crazy. It looks very good. It’s crazy thin and silky soft. You can see the huge difference, ‘she wondered.

‘I just can not get over it, it literally feels like nothing. This is very brittle, I used so little product and the coverage is so good that it is lighter than air. It’s a little oily, but I can not like it because I have very dry skin.

‘The hype was real, it really was.’
