Tiger Lake Acer Chromebook Spin 713 is down to $ 619

It will not be long, and we will drop our list of the best Chromebooks in the first half of 2021. Even if no “official” decisions have been made, it will be a tough battle to beat Acer’s latest Spin 713. The 11th generation Tiger Lake convertible brings back all the great features of last year’s model and tightens up the fit and finish to offer a Chromebook that feels even more premium than its predecessor. Throw away the impressively powerful 11th generation Core i3 and you have a Chromebook that is very close to being the total package.

Acer made users solid by increasing the storage of the latest model to 256 GB, which is a good deal even for a “premium” Chromebook. The only thing this Chromebook lacks is a fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, the one we unboxed this hardware, but we were informed that the retail version found on Best Buy would omit this feature. For $ 699, you will still be hard pressed to find a Chromebook with these features and so much horsepower. This is a $ 70 bump from the 10th generation model, but seriously, this Chromebook will chew through everything you throw at it and look great with the crazy 3: 2 screen.

It’s no surprise to see the brand new Spin on sale, but I’m a little shocked to see this steep discount so early out of the gate. Best Buy has beaten $ 80 off Spin 713, bringing the price down to ten dollars less than the retail price for last year’s model. At $ 619, you will not find a better overall value on a Chromebook right now. I suspect this deal will not last more than a day or two, so you may want to take one before they are gone. Take a look at Best Buy.
