This OnePlus Watch Tease is creepy

OnePlus Band is now an official on-the-go product that will be introduced on January 1

1th. The company announced just as much today, and even links directly to an Amazon list that shared many details and features of the training model. But thanks to a dive into a recently discovered OnePlus Health app, we may see our first look at dials for the upcoming OnePlus Watch.

The app was discovered yesterday, and a look at their files revealed a bunch of OnePlus Band dials, instructions on how to use the band and more. As the people at XDA continued to dive in, they found a number of watch surfaces that look like they belong on a larger, round smartwatch.

We have included all the dials at the top and bottom of this post. As you can see, these were built for a larger screen than what comes on the OnePlus Band. One of them, the face with the analog clock that shows 12-3-6-9 markers, looks identical to the one that is now included in OnePlus phones forever on the screen.

Also the listing for the OnePlus Health app (via Android Police) says that the app is there to “Pair and manage various smart devices such as smartwatches and tapes”, while you can “Customize and synchronize message alerts and incoming call info.” This app is almost guaranteed to connect to the OnePlus Watch.

The dials all look solid with many options to either track simple things like time or display more advanced running health statistics. My concern, and I can write something further about this, is that the OnePlus Watch will not run the Wear OS and instead is just another training-focused smartwatch like the recent Huawei Watch GT or Amazfit GTR.
