OnePlus 6T will be a bit more expensive than its predecessor. OnePlus suggested so much while confirming that the phone will have a fingerprint sensor below the screen, but no headphone jack. The new fingerprint sensor is more expensive than usual, so you can expect to pay more for the phone. Rumors say that the handset will start at $ 550, but it is still cheaper than most 2018 flagship. But OnePlus 6T can come with an added benefit that may make it seem less expensive than any previous version.
Reported a few weeks ago that OnePlus will partner with T-Mobile to launch OnePlus 6. This marks the first time the handset will be sold through an American carrier, which is a significant milestone for the smartphone manufacturer. And carrier support means many things. You can try the phone in stores before you buy it and you can order directly from T-Mobile. But the best part is that you will be able to pay for it in installment. You still have to pay full price for the handset, but it will be a lot easier to lose the cost.
The phone will be announced October 30th and will start selling in the following days, at what time T-Mobile will likely make it available to its customers. But OnePlus already shared a detail that seems to strengthen the idea that carrier partnerships should be confirmed soon.
OnePlus published an updated upload upload upload upload, indicating that carrier support is close. Android Police explain that all you need to unlock the uploader on previous OnePlus phones was to do it through a simple "fastboot oem unlock".
The updated page now contains fields indicating that operator authentication will be required (see above). This means that unlocking solutions will still be possible on OnePlus 6T, but if you get it from T-Mobile or any other partner, wait a little longer for the locker to go through.
