Several dummy devices of future iPhone models have leaked over the weekend. It gives a good idea of what to expect in September when Apple introduces the next iPhone.
It's most likely that iPhones on these photos are not real iPhones. They are just dummy devices. Each year, some manufacturers make items that look just like future iPhones.
They are based on leaked design schemas and usually look like the real one. Case manufacturers and other accessory stores buy these dummy devices to get ready before Apple's advertising.
Ben Geskin shared photos of two different phones – a larger iPhone X and a new iPhone that looks a bit like iPhone X, but with a single camera lens. These units match previous rumors.
As you can see, the larger device looks like the existing iPhone X, but larger. It's a 6.5-inch second genre iPhone X Plus. It has two cameras on the back and the familiar notch at the top of the display.
According to rumors, the other genus iPhone X Plus could cost $ 999, or the same price or iPhone X today. Apple can also update the regular 5.8-inch iPhone X with better components and a lower price – $ 899.
But what about the mysterious 6.1-inch iPhone?
Apple wants to offer a less expensive iPhone with a chopper for $ 700. Unlike the second generation iPhone X and iPhone X Plus, this new iPhone may have a slightly larger frame and an LCD display. OLED is still much more expensive than LCD, so it's hard to roll it out all over the boot.
Apple can also put a single camera on the back of the device and use aluminum instead of stainless steel on the border. Dimitri12 also shared pictures of Slashleaks dummy devices that look like Geskins dummies:
In the case of colors, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the cheaper model would come in many different colors – gray, white, blue, red and orange. The second generation iPhone X and iPhone X Plus will come in black, white and gold.
Apple is expected to announce new iPhones in early September. So you should take these dummy units with a salt grains.
