BERLIN-The Honor Play was taken today by IFA when Huawei's smartphone noticed unexpectedly unveiled Honor Magic 2.
The sequel to a somewhat cloudy phone that just launched in China, Magic 2 will be the first eagle smartphone to Get the new Kirin 980 processor with a dedicated AI core, which Huawei is expected to announce on the main theme. It's a full view, which means ultra-thin decorations and no notorious notches.
George Zhao, President of Honor, said the first genre Honor Magic "transformed smartphone design and becomes a reference for all smartphones. It may be a matter of persuasion. Launched in 2016, the first Honor Magic led before AI-all-hype machine learning was the big buzzword then.) It gained some interest internationally and served as our first real glance at what should come as manufacturers began to maximize screen size, minimize edges, and decided to call all AI.
Magic 2 has built on it. A new feature called Magic Slide is essentially a sliding frame that lets the camera come from the top. Usually it's hidden from view, giving your phone a seamless all-screen look. This saves you from a notch or any software aimed at hiding a notch. In cons, it adds a moving part, as always, e It's a concern when it comes to any electronics. The movement against the elimination of physical buttons is partly inspired by removing points for errors.
Apart from the front screen and slide camera, Magic 2 has some different AI features and 40W fast loading. Honor says that the phone automatically identifies the battery, cable and charger, and only starts fast charging if identified as safe. It's something that all phones do because it's just how fast charging works. Mark one as a marketing gimmick.
The Magic 2 is expected to debut in Germany. The company believes that the launch of Honor Magic 2, together with Honor 10 and Honor Play, can create the company's goal of becoming one of the world's five biggest smartphone brands over the next three years.
It's certainly ambitious, but with competitors like ZTE continued reeling, Huawei and its Honor sub-brand could be ready to take advantage of. It's worth nothing except Samsung, Huawei is the only company that designs its own internal processor and is not dependent on Qualcomm for chipsets.
There is no word at the moment when Honor Magic 2 will launch, neither the price nor whether it will come to the United States. We will update when we get more details.
