Today's QuakeCon keynote was heavy on big boys with big weapons but melted between all shots and gibs was a quick, almost off-hand announcement of the next extension to Bethesda's CCG The Elder Scrolls: Legends, called Isle of Madness.
Just announced: The Isle of Madness will be the next story's extension for #TESLegends! pic.twitter.com/Npk1CTaDB7 August 10, 2018
Elder Scroll's RPG veterans can recognize that title as a reference to Shivering Isles, the home of Sheogorath, Daedric's prince of insanity, and also the title of (and setting for) The second extension to The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. (The image in the tweet may also have given it away.) And yes, the evil god has come to play: "Wabbajack in hand, his brand of unpredictability, not only the missions you meet but also the cards you earn to your collection" Bethesda said.
This is not the first time Sheogorath's presence has been felt in Elder Scrolls: Legends: Madhouse Collection and Mad Prince Pack were released for the game by the end of 201
Details of how Sheogorath will affect the TESL cards will not be revealed for a while, but I expect it to be nice. Wabbajack!
