God of War fans were beaten on a wild goose hunt recently when game director Cory Barlog mentioned that there is still a secret in the game that has not been found by anyone until now. This secret was hidden in Krato's house. There was a lot of speculation about the nature of this secret and what it really did in the game and it has finally been uncovered.
GodofWarSecrets is a subreddit dedicated to finding out the latest secret that was still hidden in the game. The users of this subreddit worked hard to break the final piece of code and found out the location of this secret, which is more of an Easter egg that is also a great story spoiler. It was confirmed to be the ultimate secret of the Senior Concept Artist, Joe Kennedy, in a tweet.
In another reply to a fan, Joe stressed that this was actually the final secret or Easter egg that was put in the game. There may be several small Easter eggs being put by some environmentalists, but that would not be part of the story.
"No. Or at least nobody I realize. It's possible that an environmental artist hides something without telling people, but that would not be a part of history then."
If you're not done Good of War, it's best to avoid destroying the story with this Easter egg reveals, but if you've already finished it, the pictures As shown above confirm the identity of one of the main characters. The rounds can be seen together with a map showing the place for them.
This secret is actually Atreus identity in the form of his name, which is written on runes. These runes spell out Loki, which is the true identity of Kratos son. This will be revealed at the end of the game if you take into account the runes that shadow the future, including the world's snake's birth, which is actually Loki's son.
This confirms that Krato's wife and Atreus's mother Faye knew that his son would become a powerful Nordic God. The older concept artist also uses hashtag #FayeKnew to confirm this theory.
God of War is now available exclusively for PS4.
