If this iMac 2021 leak is genuine then Colour us dizzy. It seems that Apple can go back to the roots and expand the color choices we have seen in the iPad Air 2020.
This comes to us from Front Page Tech’s Jon Prosser via a video we have embedded below. In the clip, he also reveals the latest Pro Mac, Mac Pro mini. Yes, now that Apple is switching to Apple Silicon, it will shake up the entire range of designs with the newfound freedoms to release Intel.
Processes shared renderings from Concept Creator based on what he’s heard about Apple’s current prototype design, while looking a little more blocking than the iMac 2020, the big news that you can see us the colors blue, green, pink gold, silver and space gray of the iPad Air is in Apple̵
The gates seen on the back are only based on what we have seen before, he notes.
The big caveat here is that these are just prototypes. They are not something Apple is married to yet. Still, they look good to produce, and re-introduce color to the iMac series. It’s been a while since we’ve talked about the color “bondi blue”, but the iMac debuted with splashes of color, and returning it just makes sense.
Pros also revealed that the tiny, rumored Mac Pro (Mac Pro mini) will “look almost like the old [Power Mac] G4 Cubes, “and not the previous leak – which just looked like a smaller Mac Pro.
Prosser described the small Mac Pro as three to four Mac Minis stacked on top of each other. His source-specific words were “calculation unit at the bottom, large heat sink at the top.”
This new Mac Pro can show how wild and strange Apple can become now when it throws the rules on how Intel-based systems must be designed. We’re curious to see what Apple announces at the next events, so stay tuned to hear about the latest Apple rumors.
