Before launching Google Pixel 3 next month, Google has today published a teaser / landing page for the device in the Google Store. It's pretty barebones for now …
Deal: Get Pixelbook at 25% off: $ 750!
The page is about as simple as you can imagine, but confirms a suspicion of ours. "3" in the "I <3 NY" invitations to the event actually referred to the upcoming flagship.
As has been the case in previous years, Google also makes it easy to sign up for updates. With a single click, the current logged in Google Account can be registered to receive updates.
We already know basically allhing about Google Pixel 3. In terms of external aesthetics, the smaller model looks like a smaller version of Pixel 2 XL, while Pixel 3 XL will have a new chopped design. Both will bring new features like wireless charging, enhanced cameras and more.
There are also not many secrets when it comes to specifications. Both phones are expected to launch with the Snapdragon 845 system on a chip and an Adreno 630 GPU, 4GB RAM, two front cameras and a single back screen. Obviously, the battery size and screen specification will vary slightly between the two phones.
There are some things we still do not know, but the pricing is the big one. We also do not know what exact colors the devices should be embedded in, and other minor details like face-based safety and vibration engines.
Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL launches at Google's annual "Made by Google" event in October 9th in New York City. Google is also planning to hold a contemporary contest in Paris.
