Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 folding phone is expected to have a refined exterior design, with early leaks that suggest an enlarged cover screen and a wide range of color choices. New data is shared @IceUniverse on Weibo now suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also have thinner frames around the folding screen, as well as a narrower metal frame around the device.
The attached reproductions (below) were created based on exclusive data, the source claims. These data apparently indicate that the screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will not be wider than 3.8 mm.
The display frame around the original Galaxy Z Flips folding panel is very noticeable as one of the design features that keep the phone away from looking completely futuristic. Samsung will reportedly address this flaw in design to some degree, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 may be the first step in that direction.
Infinity-O collapsible screen clip and a narrower metal frame
Galaxy Z Flip 3 also seems to have sharper edges, judging by all the data so far, and this can further contribute to a more modern look and narrower frames. The metal frame for the Z Flip 3 is supposed to be narrower, and according to the source will not have the appearance of metal, which probably says more about the finish than the choice of material.
And finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will not have a screen camera, but rather an Infinity-O screen clip for the selfie sensor. There will not be much of a size difference between the Infinity-O cutout on the current model and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Remember that these reproductions were created by leakers and not originated from Samsung. They are not official press releases that were leaked in advance, but apparently they were created based on exclusive data ̵
