The Elder Scrolls 6 Setting possibly teased

The Elder Scrolls 6 The release date may be years out, but it seems that Bethesda Game Studios may have just teased the setting of the game, which is probably coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. While the next part in Older rolls the series was announced back in 2018, we actually know nothing about the game. However, taking to Twitter, and via the official account for the series, Bethesda has possibly suggested where the next game may take players.

The post, which wishes fans a happy new year, is apparently quite innocent, but it comes with a map of Skyrim and the caption “transcribe the past and map the future.” Again, at the surface level it does not seem to be much with this, but there are also some weird lights on the map. One of these lights is on Solitude, the capital of Skyrim. The second appears slightly outside the map, indicating that there is no significance for the location. The third, however, is in the neighboring country Hammerfell.

As you may know, the current speculation ̵

1; partly driven by rumors and leaks – is that the next game, at least in part, will take place in Hammerfell, making this seemingly random placement of lights actually a bit suspicious.

For now, take everything here with a massive grain of salt because it’s just speculation. However, fans on Reddit have pointed out the mentioned observations and how the combination of the caption, the map, the lights and the places involved is at least interesting and suspicious.

At the time of publication, Bethesda has not commented on any of this speculation in any way. If it is a real tease, there is no way this will change. But if it’s just baseless speculation, there’s a chance Bethesda could crush it. If it does, we’ll be sure to update the story.
