There are reports of Black Ops Cold War Zombies players receiving the error code ‘Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ and having their accounts permanently banned afterwards.
UPDATE – April 7: Treyarch’s general manager, FoxHoundFPS, has posted an update on this issue to Reddit and confirmed that their team is looking into it. Despite the fact that many players say they will be banned with this error, he says that players should check the enforcement policy for prohibition offenses, and this prohibition message is not due to this error.
We are aware that some players see the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug message and then fail to connect while viewing a ban message. The prohibition message is not a product of disconnection errors. For questions about enforcement policy, visit this link.
Rope 630 Nuclear Bug: This error string is currently presented instead of the default disconnect language when a disconnect occurs in the Zombies menus on the PC. PC gamers usually see: “The connection to the Blizzard game server has been lost. Go out and try again. BLZBNTBGS000003F8. ”
We encourage players to continue playing Zombies as usual, which includes chasing high rounds and personal records.
In the early days of Black Ops Cold War, Zombies players had their world record runs abruptly ended with consistent crashes. Now a new error code has kicked Zombies players back to the menu, and they claim that their accounts are permanently banned when they log in again.
Since April 2, ‘Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ has crashed PC gamers’ Zombies games at high levels. Reddit user Korlesa was reportedly banned after receiving this code and creating a post to highlight the issue.
In the post titled, “People Get Wrongly Banned While Going Too High Rounds in Zombies on PC,” Korlesa described how “after going 50+ rounds, people get a” Sail 630 Nuclear Bug “error. .net we see that we have been permanently banned. ”
To back up the claim, Korlesa has collected over 50 posts to the Activision Support page where players claim that they have been banned after receiving the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug.
Korlesa summarized these reports and highlighted what several of them have in common:
- They were on the PC
- They played Zombies
- They were on a high round (50+)
- They got the same error (Sail 630 Nuclear Bug)
Many other actors in the comments said that they have experienced the same problem. User XPGO said that they played the game with friends who were on the console and in round 50, only XPGO received the error code and was permanently banned afterwards.
Treyarch’s social manager, Josh Torres, aka FoxhoundFPS, responded to the Reddit post. “I can not help with this problem,” he said. “All violations undergo a thorough review process by the security team prior to enforcement.”
If more and more players report the error code, it is likely that Treyarch will acknowledge the problem. In the case of players who claim that their accounts have been unfairly banned, it remains to be seen whether they will get their accounts back.
