From weapon attachments to new mobility options, SypherPK has quite the shopping list.
With just over a month of the current season left, people are starting to wonder what’s next for Fortnite. During Chapter 2, it has become a certain tradition for Ali “SypherPK” Hassan to make a wish list of changes he wants to see.
In a recent video titled “What Epic NEEDS To Do in Fortnite Season 6”, Twitch and the YouTube star described the pros and cons of season 5, and made some interesting suggestions for the future.
Sypher started with the positive, and praised the developers for consistent content updates, fresh mechanics like the sand tunnel and the new currency system. He also added that after some minor adjustments, he feels this is the “most balanced shotgun meta we̵
So what does Sypher want from season 6? We will go through the main points, but it is definitely worth checking out the video to get a complete perspective.
At the start of Season 5, Fortnite fans were thrilled to see the Tilted Towers brought to life again as some of the most popular buildings came down on Salty Springs. The center of the island also received a significant overhaul, with Zero Point appearing in the sky over a large sandy beach.
Since then, however, not a whole lot has happened without arriving at Kit’s Cantina in the update v15.30. Sypher reflected on the shifting arrival of Stark Industries’ POI halfway through season 4, and suggested a return to major mid-season map changes going forward.
Based on this point, he touched on map mobility. This refers to things like Chapter 1 volcano, geysers and slipstreams. “We have the sand tunnel and the crystals, but it is already in the middle of the map,” the streamer explained, recommending an increase in the movement potential towards the edges.
While Sypher can enjoy the current Shotgun meta, the same cannot be said for Assault Rifles. “AK47 (Heavy AR) is so awful in my opinion,” he admitted, a feeling that has been echoed by many professionals and casual gamers.
He would love to see Burst AR or Infantry Rifle unvaulted, but is more than down for something completely new. Maybe this next topic can help you with the problem. Weapon attachment.
Apparently Epic not only works with weapon modes / attachments, there will also be car attachments like new levels that have different behavior for Dirt, Grass & Road and hard to get to, also other car attachments like Mounted Guns .. Will update you later if there is more !

First leaked back in December, it sounds more and more likely that changes for both weapons and vehicles will come to Fortnite. Sypher is all for it and thinks they would be a great way to spice things up.
Season 5 introduced “Bars” as a currency system in the game. Although the addition of these gold bars certainly added a new dimension to Battle Royale mode, Sypher believes they need a complete overhaul.
He mentioned the idea that instead of bars being transferred between matches, players might be able to cultivate gold in the same way as other materials.
He also wants more choices when it comes to what you can buy with it. “I think it might be an option to start over or revive people who use gold … maybe you can buy a Launch Pad, maybe you can buy a self-tutorial or something like that” PK pondered.
There is no doubt that Epic is already deep into the development of season 6, but we have to wait until it is released to see if any of Sypher’s proposals make the cut. Let us know what you’re hoping for on Twitter @FortniteTracker.
