Surprise Nintendo Switch Play now and it's one of the best of the year

The Nintendo Direct-style presentation that preceded Gamescom brought the word on a trio of new Switch games that all released on that day. A new stream, this one from Nintendo of America, had only one such game, but it's amazing: Into the Breach.

Originally released earlier this year on PC, Into the Breach is the last title from Subset Games, the developer of the acclaimed FTL. The game is now available at Eshop for $ 15 / £ 11.39.

Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy game where you control three giant mechs with the task of defending an area from monsters. What makes it unique is the level of transparency with everything about the upcoming trip: You know exactly which order enemies will move in, what to do, and how much damage they will inflict. Likewise, you know the effect of your own actions; There is nothing random about how much damage you will do, for example. Combined with the ability to physically move devices and enemies around (so that you hit enemies of the map or make them attack each other), it all makes for an extremely satisfying experience unlike anything else.

The game itself is terrific, as described in our review of the violation. "There is so much strategic joy in seeing the potential destruction, a swarm of giant monsters is about to loosen out in a city, and then quick and perform elaborate tellerman moves to ruin the party," wrote Edmond Tran. "In the fracture's focus on foresight, its turn-based meetings make an action-packed, risk-free puzzle game, and the remarkable diversity of playstars offered by unique devices keeps each new round interesting." </p>
<p dir= Although this may be the only -revealed Switch game to get out right away, Nintendo also announced many other indie titles and exclusives along the way. Among other things, Hyper Light Drifter for Switch will contain some new elements, while the system also gets Samurai Gunn 2, a cool-looking action game called Bullet Age and Untitled Goose Game.
