How do you fix speakers these days? Let me rephrase: How do you fix portable, battery-powered Wi-Fi speakers that offer 360-degree audio, AirPlay support, and in some cases onboard Alexa?

For a limited time, and as long as the stock lasts, MorningSave has done so four Libratone Zipp speaker models on sale for $ 49 to $ 99, and coupon code CHEAP 15 knocks 15% extra on each of them. Meet me in the next section to talk about shipping.

MorningSave’s shipping setup works like this: You can pay a one-time fee of $ 8 (for everything, including everything you can go back and order within an hour of purchase), or you can pay $ 5 each month for free shipping on all orders. But if you choose the latter option, you can cancel at any time and effectively walk away with $ 5 shipping on this order.

I know, it’s a little confusing; I wish MorningSave would just include shipping costs in the price as just about any other store does. On the other hand, $ 5 is mightily cheap, especially if you end up buying more speakers.

When we talk about it, let’s talk about these. As mentioned, there are four; you choose model (s) and color (s) when you get to the checkout:

  • Libratone Zipp Mini: $ 41.64 with code
  • Libratone Zipp: $ 67.15 with code
  • Libratone Zipp Mini 2: $ 67.15 with code
  • Libratone Zipp 2: $ 84.15 with code

All four models are portable (with varying battery life) and offer both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. They all support AirPlay 2 and can be configured to listen to multiple rooms. You can connect up to six of the original Zipps or up to 10 of the Zipp 2 models.

The latter also adds Alexa to the mix, but of course, if you use them on the go, your phone must be present for voice commands to work. (Alexa requires internet connection.)

CNET has not reviewed any of these speakers, so I will steer you to Amazon for some user reviews of Zipp 2 – which currently sells there for $ 199 (and was originally $ 300).

Last thing: That discount code will work for all Libratone products currently on sale at MorningSave, including Libratone ONE Click Bluetooth speaker two-pack for $ 99. (A single is currently running $ 130 on Amazon.)

Get a free Amazon Echo Dot when you sign up for the 3 month SiriusXM for $ 15

Not sure you want satellite radio? Here is a very inexpensive way to test it: For a limited time, new customers can get three months with SiriusXM Premier for only $ 15 – and a free Echo Dot included.

What does a dot have to do with a service you listen to in your car? Actually, SiriusXM also supports streaming, which means you can listen on your phone or tablet via the app and at home – you guessed it – smart speakers like Dot.

The latter is the third generation model (so, hockey puck, not cool), definitely a nice little advantage if you do not already have a homemaker.

The important warning here: After three months, you start being billed at the regular price ($ 13 per month) unless you cancel.
