Offer: The holiday season is long over now, but that does not mean that the savings must be stopped. Yesterday, Steam launched its latest annual Lunar New Year sale, bringing tens of thousands of curated offers across a wide variety of games.
As usual with Steam sales these days – even the bigger ones, unfortunately – Valve has not prepared a meta-event this time. There are no mini-games, competitions or gifts to speak of, so the offers must stand alone.
Valve is giving away a new animated sticker with a Lunar New Year theme every day at the sale (made by the talented Andre Dias), but that’s about it. Fortunately, the discounts are good enough that the lack of a special event does not matter.
You can organize offers by genre and theme, or just browse the main store page, where you will find a curated selection of discounts to suit your specific taste. Or at least what Steam thinking your taste is.
One of the biggest discounts available is the Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition package, which will give you only $ 14.80. The package contains all the DLC and add-ons that the game has received over time – it’s a $ 109 combo most of the time, so you save quite a bit of money.
You can also catch the amazing Total War: Three Kingdoms for only $ 30 (half the regular price), and Total War: Warhammer for $ 15 (75 percent off). If role-playing games are more your speed, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a 60 percent discount, and even the all-new Cyberpunk 2077 has a significant price reduction of 10 percent.
If you have some money to burn, this is the perfect time to check out Steam’s latest deals. The Lunar New Year Sale ends on February 15 at 10.00 in the Pacific, and it started yesterday, so there are still three days to take advantage of it.
