Stardew Valley is the game that just keeps giving. Since its release in 2016, it has seen more than a good percentage of generous updates. However, there are still small things you can improve here and there. Thanks to a mod from Shekurika, part of the game became a little easier to play: fishing. If you use it, you will be able to see the fish underwater.
Usually in Stardew Valley, throw your line on the empty slate to the open water. Unlike similar games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you do not see shadows of fish or even a disturbance on the water surface. Often you have to throw away your lid a few places before you get a bite to eat. This mode changes the game so you can see all the fish̵
It’s a thoughtful adaptation because fishing in Stardew can be a little difficult. The rod is a bit tricky and you lose fish after hooking them if you are not careful. This is probably one of the most difficult skills to learn in the game. This mature cuts down on grinding and helps you catch what you need, even if you are not the most skilled angler.
Courage also adds a few bonus configuration options. If you want, you can adjust how many fish spawn on the map to create more fish. You can also turn on an option to allow the player to see the game’s other “fishable” objects – such as a rusty spoon and spur – as well.
The mod is currently published on Nexus Mods – and due to a recently changed policy on the site, this and all its other mods will be stored permanently online. So if this seems like a feature you want, you have all the time in the world to grasp it.
