The release of LucasArts from 2005 Star Wars: Republic Commando seems to be on its way to the Nintendo Switch.
Well-known computer miners @ NWPlayer123 have discovered a Nintendo server update that apparently confirms Aspyr Media publishes Republic Commando on the Switch. Aspyr is the same team that has the gate across Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars Racer.
Stars Wars: Republic Commando is a first-person squad-based shooter that was originally exclusive to Xbox and PC and got a bit of a cult feel. This will obviously mark the first time it was ever released on a Nintendo platform.
If we receive a more official update on this, we will make sure to let you know. In the meantime, tell us in the comments if this would be a Star Wars game you would be interested in playing on Switch.
