Spotify's prize plan for students is getting so much that I actually consider going back to school. Just months after announcing a $ 5 monthly package for students who include a free subscription to Hulu, Spotify revealed today that Showtime is being added to the pile too, completely free.
All eligible students in the United States over the age of 18 have access to Spotify Premium for students who cost $ 4.99 a month. If you have never signed up before, you can get the first three months for just $ 0.99. If you already have a Spotify student account, all you need to do is log in and add Showtime to the package.
Adding Hulu to the bundle already made it a no-brainer for most students, but with Showtime, the value of the package increases exponentially. To put $ 5 monthly cost in perspective, a standard Spotify Premium plan costs $ 1
It's also a great way to get people hooked on Showtime without asking them to stand out for their own subscription. It's no secret that Showtime has lived in HBO's shadow for decades, but now countless students have had almost free access to the service, just like popular publications like Who is America? Kidding ] and Patrick Melrose begins to fly.
Spotify's updated student bundle is available to all eligible American students.
