MLB The Show 21, developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego Studio, launches on Xbox Game Pass on April 20 – release date. Major League Baseball and Microsoft announced the news on Friday via Xbox Wire.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have instant access MLB The Show 21 April 20 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play the game on Android devices via the cloud on that date. The game has platform games and progress, which means that players can easily switch which device they are playing on.
“As we said from the beginning, this is an incredible moment for all of us, and bringing the franchise to more players and baseball fans is something we at MLB, MLB Players, Inc. and Xbox are excited about,”
It was surprising enough to hear that the former PlayStation-exclusive baseball sim would be launched on Microsoft consoles – making this the first “simulation quality game” to be released on the Xbox site Major League Baseball 2K13.
Now, Xbox Game Pass is easily the best deal in games for sports fans – it has most of the biggest franchise titles, including NBA 2K, Madden NFL, Football Manager, FIFA and the NHL. (Electronic Arts sports games are part of EA Play, which comes with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.)
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $ 14.99 a month and includes Xbox Live Gold, which allows players to access online multiplayer.
