After giving away Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free last year as part of the Play At Home scheme to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Sony has confirmed that the initiative will return in the coming months. The biggest takeaway so far is that you can redeem a copy of Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 4 for free from March 1
From 25 March 2021, a new agreement will provide extended access to Funimation for new subscribers. “What we outlined today is just the beginning of what lies ahead for Play At Home. In the coming weeks, we will share more information about free games and entertainment offers that fall for our PlayStation community,” said PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan.
In this historic time, the team at PlayStation wanted to thank the community by giving something back. These days we could all use something to look forward to and another reason to stay safely socially distanced, so we are happy to offer a free selection of great games and some entertainment.
