Third party peripheral company PDP has announced a series of stylish Nintendo Switch controllers modeled on the classic GameCube button layout for use with the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The series of three controllers has different colors and symbols to denote any election characters: red for Mario, Blue for Link and Yellow for Pikachu.
The button layout is identical to the original GameCubes, with a few smaller Switch extensions like the Home and Capture button. A removable C-Stick can be exchanged for a full-featured analog stick, depending on how dedicated you are to the old GameCube look. PDP has not announced a release date, but says on the product page that these will be available in time for the holiday season. It will probably make them available on time for Smash Bros Ultimate release date December 7th.
