In a recent stream, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek gave his honest opinion on Cyberpunk 2077.
After being delayed three times, Cyberpunk 2077’s new release date is December 10th. Fans have been looking forward to the release for several years, but unlike most players, Shroud did not seem so excited about the game.
He investigated the developer’s claims that Cyberpunk 2077 represents the “next level” of gaming. Furthermore, Shroud ended up admitting that he hoped the game died within a month, as he does not want to play a single player game for too long.
Shroud shares thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077, hoping the game is not a success
The relentless delays seen by Cyberpunk 2077 have been criticized by gamers around the world. The last 21 days’ postponement had led to hundreds of players criticizing the developers CD Projekt Red for not planning the release, with quite a few already taking time off from work pending the November 10 release.
However, Shroud did not seem too angry and admitted that his reaction would depend on the quality of the game.
As seen in the video, one of his fans ended up asking him if he was excited about the game being released on December 10th.
“I’m excited to see what their definition of the next generation is, that’s what I’m excited about. Like yes, the game will be really cool, but I really want to know if they’re actually going to revolutionize and really be the “next generation.” We’ll see.”
Another fan wanted to know what the former CS: GO pro’s thoughts were about the endless delays, and Shroud seemed pretty ok with the whole situation with the postponements:
“Should they postpone release again? I doubt it, but they could, they definitely could. I’m sure they’m ready. I’m sure they’ll not push it back anymore. I’m sure they’m ready. ”
Shroud continued to watch the recently released game Cyberpunk 2077. Although it promises a lot, the 26-year-old revealed that he hoped Cyberpunk 2077 died within a month.
This is because the Canadian will not spend too much time playing a single player game:
“Cyberpunk will die in a month? I hope so. I hope it is not bigger than a month. It’s an angel game. I do not want to spend my whole life in here. I want to spend just enough time and get out, you know? “
While most players do not want to spend just a month or so playing what can be said to be the most anticipated game of all time, Shroud just wants to find out what the “next generation” of games looks like!
