As we always say, you know that a new car is approaching the launch when more and more spying pictures and videos surpass the web. Midway Corvette C8 is going to be revealed next summer and now we have a lot of information about the cosmic Chevrolet sports car, but many of them have not yet been confirmed.
One of the last bits we got is that C8 would be longer, lower and wider than ZR1 C7.
On this latest spy video, which is probably one of the closest shots on the upcoming next-generation sports car, Corvette C8 was fortunately caught in the cross by a truck driver. It's still heavily camouflaged, but it's slightly different than what was tested in Nurburgring back in September.
What's interesting, but the C8 was almost in full view in the video above since the car was stopped. The square spring outflow was easy to spot as well as the strangely placed back wing. Someone on Corvette Blogger discovered that there was a change in the front grille, which would mean that different panels were used to make the car wider. The driver was also seen wearing a red safety belt, but it can still change.
As for the fuel, the 2020 Corvette C8 is speculated to be powered by the same V8 on the C7, which produces 460 hp (343 kilowatts) and 465 pounds (630 Newton meters) torque. However, different trim levels are perceived as an alternative, which can produce anywhere from 650 hp (484 kW) and up to 1000 hp (745 kW).
