SecretLab’s new series of 2022 gaming chairs has renewed its focus on packing more features without significantly increasing the price. It also makes it easier to decide which one to buy. Instead of offering both the Titan and Omega chairs, it squeezes the best aspects of each into a single model called the Titan Evo. Told SecretLab The Verge that it will launch the Titan Evo in mid-July, priced at about $ 20 or $ 30 more than the small Omega chair, which currently sells for $ 359.
The company offers Titan Evo in small, regular and extra large sizes. Whatever size you choose, it comes with the same new comforts and cosmetic features. It renewed the seat base to offer thigh support, and there is a new knob on the left side of the chair that adapts to the new and improved “L-ADAPT”
Following SecretLab’s recent obsession with magnets in the Magnus desk, the Titan Evo has replaceable magnetic armrests. You will be able to upgrade with more materials in the future, including Technogel. There are more magnets! The cushion that comes with each Titan Evo chair is magnetically attached to the chair. SecretLab emphasized that it was challenging to develop strong magnets in a cushion that did not affect its softness, or use the chair over time.
The company offers Titan Evo in two new colors available with hybrid polyurethane (PU) imitation leather material: Royal and ash, which are blue and gray, respectively. SecretLab says it has improved the material, as well as the SoftWeave weaving technique, to be more durable. It claims that PU artificial leather is 12 times more durable than regular PU leather. In addition, it uses a new weaving technique to bring color transitions to what SecretLab calls SoftWeave Plus fabric, which it claims has a 3.5-fold improvement in strength.
