The sale of the townhouse comes as a surprise, as it was not listed for sale publicly.
Privately, however, there have been rumors of a sale of the townhouse for almost a year.
The New York Post reported in January 2020 that the couple traded the quiet townhouse, which was built around 1905, without officially marketing it.
In the two decades they have owned the townhouse, Parker and Broderick have renovated it significantly to the value of millions of dollars.

The couple was supposed to start in the Broadway revival of Plaza Suite from April 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new hope is that the revival will begin in March 2021, depending on when Broadway reopens.
